Becoming Disciples of Christ

Music Ministry
Our choir has returned as of Easter 2022. Led by our master musician Kyle LaFever, the Elm Park Choir is made up of beautiful and dedicated singers offering traditional and contemporary hymns and songs. Prior to Covid-19 we presented a Christmas cantata for the community. If you have an interest this is an easy way to share God’s blessings in your life.

Children & Families
Sunday School begins just before the sermon during each worship service and is appropriate for children grades K-5. Judy and Dorothy Carrington will teach them the love of God through artistic projects and other adventures. New children are always welcomed.
Vacation Bible School will take place in July and we can't wait to see your children and youth there, too!

St. Pauly's Clothing Shed
Elm Park currently partners with St. Pauly Textile, Inc. in providing our west Oneonta community with a convenient way to donate used clothing in good condition. St. Pauly’s currently partners with over 1,300 organizations, collecting clothing donations in a uniquely clean and community-friendly way, and redistributes clothing all across the U.S. and around the world.

Habitat for Humanity
Elm Park participates in local Habitat for Humanity home builds.

Ministry of Memory
It is important to remember and honor our past. Elm Park has a vast and rich history and has done a wonderful job record keeping and archiving photos. Photos from our past are shared on our Facebook page each week.

The Sign
For years we have provided thoughts for the week on the sign in front of our church on Chestnut Street. We hope it inspires you to consider more fully how you spend your time in this life and take the next step to learn more about God’s plan for your life next Sunday at Elm Park. We thank Rob Brown for the sign's upkeep and hope it continues to bring hope to the members of our community.

Blood Drives
Elm Park is a host site for American Red Cross Blood Drives. The events will be listed in the events section of our website and also on our Facebook page.

Soup-to-Go and Harvest Dinner
Elm Park provides fresh homemade soup to go for our friends and neighbors in the West Oneonta community during the Winter months of January to March. In November, our Harvest Dinner featuring a Thanksgiving spread is a tradition that will resume in 2022. Both events are an excellent way for new visitors to become involved in Elm Park’s work to serve needs in Oneonta.
